Anime characters known from wearing a poker face!

#1 On the list is Karasuma Ooji of school rumble

#2. Ulquirra of Bleach

#3. Shino from Naruto

#4. Irumi of Hunterxhunter

#5. Kaname Kuran of Vampire knight

#6.Tezuka of Prince of Tennis for sure he doesn’t show his emotion

#7. L of death note

#8. Heero yuy of Gundam wing

#9. Kazuya Shibuya of Ghost hunt

#10. Last but not the least Hisoka as well of Hunterxhunter

Do you agree? They are the best in wearing poker face I ever known and I say they are the over-confident one. This anime character has a big influence to all anime otaku that is why most of us sometime mimic them, though some of them didn’t suit their appearance.

Anime, does play poker in fact some of them are being influence by cards one example is hisoka. Want to play titan poker? You can download everest poker here. I wonder anime plays poker? Hmmm. Am I thinking weird stuff? I’m just wondering if they were a real person, do they really play?

Anyway, next week, Naruto shippuuden Manga issue, we’ll discuss what’s happening in the manga so watch out! Great battles are starting to unfold.

OVA’s

What does OVA means?

Before I start, Last Sunday, I went to the mall and spend sometime wondering around in all magazine stands just want to buy any anime mag or any stuff I can read and then I found this interesting anime magazine, Anime Insider. I haven’t really watch Trinity Blood, well, actually I only watch few episode of it. And in this magazine the cover page was father Abel Nigthroad and not really want to buy it. I went to some other magazine stand and then went home. But as soon as I realize I was holding Anime insider in my hand, and not just one, not two but three issues of it. I was really wondering why I bought it, in fact this issue wasn’t the latest, and actually this was a year ago. What is up to me? Really, what is up to me? I spent most of my money on this magazine.

Nevertheless, I just look for the bright side. Well actually, I never seen such fun reading and very informative magazine with totally cool graphics and lively entertainment as this one. In fact this magazine, gives me a whole new information about many other anime stuff such as OVA’s. (at least it make me less ignorant about OVAs and animes)

Now, let me share you some informations about what OVA means. OVA – means Original Video Animation, maybe most of us all know what it means, but about what is, only few knows. And honestly, I also don’t really understand what OVA means. So here it is.

OVA – refers to any anime produced specifically for release on home video without first being released in theatres or broadcast in TV. It plays an important role in the volatile history of anime as a whole.

OVA – is free of the length of content restriction placed on TV series and movies, The OVA format allowed creators a powerful freedom to experiment with new, exciting techniques and ideas.

OVA – releases nowadays have become a fairly common format for side-stories or supplemental episodes for TV series.

– Chad Clayton, anime insider, issue 41, feb 2007 (See! How old the magazine I bought were, but in fairness, the quality are the best. Thanks to you guys. Keep it up, and I guess I’ll have to buy more issue next time.)

OVA – animation is well regarded for its high production quality. OVA titles generally have a much higher budget per episode than that of a TV series; therefore the technical quality of animation is almost always superior to TV series; occasionally even equal to that of animated movies.

OVA – titles are also known for the detailed plots and character development which can result from greater creative freedom it offers to writers and directors than other formats.

I hope you enjoy some informations I shared to you. By the way here are some anime with OVAs.

Filed under: anime, anime series, anime trivia - dimarkitekt13 @ 2:46 am

New anime series are getting into your watchlist and I bet you already forgot or probably miss these things which have been featured in your favorite anime series.

Now I have searched for some anime trivia which can make you remind for the old anime series that you have been fond of.

Here are some Anime Trivias:

  • Ayashi no Ceres

In episode 2, Baya says she is an excellent paper driver. What is a paper driver?

  • Blood the Last Vampire

What famous landmark is seen on the calendar in the infirmary for Nov?

In the movie, we see two close ups on Hitomi’s watch. What dates does it show?

  • Vision of Escaflowne

How many desserts did Hitomi’s friend, Yukari, list in order for her to forgive Hitomi the scene in the infirmary?

Do you still remember those things? Me either can’t remember all but somehow after I’ve read I realize those things aren’t my concern but those things are part of the story why do you think the creator put such things on that series if that has no significance in their creation.

Although this anime might be old enough to remember but this became a part of you when you enjoy watching anime. And now every month there is latest updates on your current anime favorite but have you consider searching about your previous favorite and keep a discussion about it? Lately I’ve been thinking of writing an entry about every episodes of my current favorite, D.gray-man, but it’s hard to cope up since I’m not a full time blogger and even if I want to I couldn’t because I have a work, that is I can only update my blog weekends. That is why I change my plan, instead of discussing every episodes, which usually don’t have any very important events, I decided to make a other entry that is also related to anime of course and that is anime trivias, themes, cosplays, and characters, well I still want to discuss the episodes but by events and because if I make it every episode, what will happen is I only sum up the event that happen, and it will turn out my reviews will just have a few sentences.
