Anime News: Zaoldyeck Joins the Genei Ryodan!
At last the spider brigade is show themselves once again. I miss this characters, I feel so excited. I hope they will continue the anime series. As to the genei ryodan a character, Shalnaaq is still alive so I stick on him, and he will always be my favorite hunter x hunter character. And Shalnaaq and Shizuku would still be the best couple in that anime… hehehe…
Anyway, have you seen Bonorenolf fight? Or Feitan got into a serious fight, well actually it’s not that serious but for the first he show some new move and He Kick some ass in that chapter, poor enemy she got fried. Hehehe. And another thing, are you familiar to that girl (actually he’s a boy) who’s like stalking the spider brigade in the previous arc, Greed Island? Yes, you guess it right, he join the Brigade and to think he’s a Zaoldyeck in replacement of Hisuka. I wonder why he chooses to join the brigade. But of course I’ll tell you why, by the way he’s name is Kalluto if you don’t know him.
So, if you still are wondering why he joins the Brigade, I will tell you. But let me tell you about Kalluto first.
Kalluto is the youngest son of the Zaoldyeck family, and take note he’s a ‘HE’ If you are wondering still wonders why, well it doesn’t stated but for me they are all boys so perhaps he was treated as a girl by their mother—that is usually happens to the family if they are all boys or girls. If they are all girls one will be treated as a boy.
Kalluto first appearance is during Killua’s retrieval at Kukuruu Mountain. The second time is when he assists his brother Irumi in assassinating the ten mafia leaders. Kalluto joins the Brigade is simply to find his missing brother Alluka. So that is it.
Anyway, back to the action. Phinx, Bonorenolf, Shalnaaq, Feitan and Shizuku accompany with Killua’s younger brother, Alluka, came to East Guruto to claim the head of the acclaimed queen. As Phinx said it’s a race so everyone chooses a different path. And so who do you think wins? Well I’ll keep it as a secret. Anyway you can read the manga below.
Moreover, Bono looks like Dhalsim in street fighter, but in fairness he has a unique ability but it’s just too grotesque. It’s like an Aztec. He belongs to a tribe though. (That was explained in the manga) I really never thought that he has that capability. Well I never knew him just now since I never saw him fight in the previous arc though.
Shizuku got sexy outfit when she was intangle by her fight with chimera ant soldier. But sadly Machi didn’t show. Maybe she and Hisoka got married… heheh, she’s one of my favorite genei ryodan characters also along with shizuku and shalnaaq.
Shalnaaq is lively and hilarious especially when he changes into battle mode. He looks like Ren Tao, I never thought he could fight that way.
But as a conclusion, those chimera ants soldier don’t deserve the spider brigade, they are just too weak for them. Anyway here’s the manga.

i agree with you that the spiders blew the ants out of the water. maybe one of the reasons why the spiders made a cameo is to help explain why hisoka has not made even a shade of an appearance: 1. he’s concentrating on kuroro (i hope that fight happens and is great), 2. if the weakest spider can dust off an ant without breaking a sweat, hisoka could probably vaporize them even without his nen. if the ants were stronger, it’d be hard to explain why hisoka, a guy who loves to fight strong and interesting opponents, hasn’t even bothered to check them out.
whatever the reason, go spiders! a great set of villains. the chimera ants pale in comparison both in character, strength, uniqueness, etc.
