Yuuki’s earliest memory is of a snowy night in winter, when she was attacked by one vampire and was saved by another, Kaname Kuran. Ten years later, Yuuki Cross, the adopted daughter of the headmaster of Cross Academy, has grown up and become a guardian for the school, with two purposes: To protect the Day class (humans) from the Night class’s (vampires) fangs and to protect the true identity of the Night class students from being discovered by the Day class students. Review:

This series was first introduced to me with my fellow boardmate and never thought he also like anime, for him he likes anime that is purely fiction like this one. I never got a chance to ask about his favorite anime though, maybe next time. But, anyway as we talk he told me about this series and I got interested. The night shift students are very famous to the girls in the day shift. They even got fans club, and acted like the characters in the live action series, Hana Kimi (japan) where girls are falling in line just to see their crushes at the boys’ dorm.

Moving on, Hanabusa is acting very active and happy-go-lucky, I remember Eiji (from POT) in him, but I prefer Eiji compared to Hanabusa. And, Kuran likes Yuuki, but he kindda have bad intention on her, on the other hand Zero is very concern about Yuuki.

The night shift seems to be a boring class. I wonder what they are discussing about. I could not really resist but it seems that their characters aren’t unique. As I mentioned earlier Hanabusa seems like Eiji, and the Kuran looks the same from the characters from the animated film ‘X’ by CLAMP. And Chairman Cross as his name spells it the same from Gen. Cross of d.gray-man and He acted like Kumui older brother of Lenale in the same series. I know it maybe just a coincident but since Mastsuri Hino (creator) creates the characters that way, maybe it has a significant in japanese history, who knows. Anyway that is just my weird thoughts, it’s not even a big deal, I’m just curious though.

By the way, have you noticed in the 8:30 in the episode Kiryuu smashed the table and broke it but in 9:43 Yuuki smashed the table again and it was repaired? That is slightly funny but unique. And in 14:11 have you also noticed that Lily (the horse) covers the tablet? I don’t get it? I’m sure Kiryuu is also a vampire but why is he hiding? And why he doesn’t just join the vampire class? I guess this is too much to ask for a nonsense question. Hahaha.

Anyway, every character in this series is acting a bit odd that is just my observation though. but to the story, although I only watch the first episode, there is something to look forward to and for sure it would be more interesting next time.
