Rental magica

Plot Summary:

The story revolves in the life of Itsuki Iba whose father’s disappearance made him take over the family business: a magician dispatch service. Their family basically employs countless magicians and other supernatural beings in order to send them out to help those who need magical assistance.

Itsuki Iba is the cowardly president of a `for hire` magic company called Astral. Always in need of money, Itsuki`s company rents out magicians to perform misc jobs. His company features many magic schools such as Solomon (Demon Magic), Shinto (Prayer Magic), Onmyodou (Spirit Magic) and Celtic (Ritual/Paper Magic). Not the only company out there looking for work, but Itsuki`s company has an `ace` in the hole which happens to be Itsuki himself. If things become more than they can handle, Itsuki will remove his eye patch.

As a side note, most of these people are grade schoolers and 2 of them happen to be classmates of Itsuki`s. The running joke of the show is he gets hit by Honami and Adilisia when any girl even looks at him. Also, in order to run a successful business, he has to connect with his employees, which is more difficult than it seems due to his personality. But not only does he have to deal with his own employees, he also has to deal with those who threaten the family business.

Review:

Judging from the first episode, it’s pretty mysterious but very complicated and unclear like for example: what happen to his right eye, how they gain their abilities, and the villains where they came from—it was stated that the episode is not in chronological order though. Watching this anime series needs attention since the story isn’t happening the way it should be, I’ve never seen like this before, I find it so confusing. The characters also aren’t quite convincing. If the first episode happens later in the story, the character should at least be more particular with their abilities, especially the main character.

The series needs to be followed through, until then one can understand the whole plot. Not unless you already read the story.

Naruto’s Godfather

Jiraiya is named after the character of the same name from Jiraiya Goketsu Monogatari ("The Tale of the Gallant Jiraiya"). The Jiraiya in this story excelled in summoning a giant toad (the toad itself was sometimes called "Jiraiya") and toad magic.

As a child, Jiraiya and his former teammates, Orochimaru and Tsunade, were students of the Third Hokage. After leaving the Third’s tutelage, he traveled the world and discovered the residence of the toads, who trained him to call upon them in battle. During this time a prophecy concerning Jiraiya was told, dictating that he would travel the world while writing a book and meet a child who would either revolutionize or destroy the world. During his travels, Jiraiya and his former teammates fought with Hanzo, who rewarded their ability to survive his attacks through the title of "Legendary Three Ninja". Soon after this Jiraiya met Nagato, a boy he believed to be the child from the prophecy. Jiraiya trained Nagato and his friends, hoping to steer the boy down the path of good before returning to Konoha

Jiraiya is a self-proclaimed super-pervert with no equal and a frequent voyeur, going so far as to create the Transparent Escape Technique to allow him to spy on naked women without being caught (doing "research" as he calls it). He never actually hides his perversion and even seems proud of it, as seen when he told the Third Hokage about it when he was still a child.

Jiraiya is known as the "Toad Sage" ("Toad Mountain Sage") due to his utilization of a number of toad-related jutsu. Many typically deal with summoning toads, and he has risen to a level of ability that allows him to summon Gamabunta. He can even summon the nearly indestructible esophagus of a great, fire-breathing toad with Summoning: Toad Mouth Bind.

Jiraiya has been shown to be very knowledgeable with sealing jutsu, and has used a number of them throughout the series. When first meeting Naruto, he quickly deduces that the seal on Naruto’s stomach keeps the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox sealed within him though also allows its chakra to mix with his own.

Jiraiya’s initial usage of his title as Naruto’s godfather consists of instructing him on how to better utilize the demon fox’s chakra and teaching him a number of his father’s techniques. Jiraiya later takes Naruto with him at the end of Part I for two-and-a-half years of training to help him better face the challenges that await him in Part II. During this time he tries to give Naruto more access to the demon fox’s chakra by using the key to the seal left to him by Minato, though only injures himself and weakens the seal in the process. read more …

My comments:

I never expect that Jiraiya would be Naruto’ godfather all I know is that he is the fourth’s teacher. However, if Jiraiya is Naruto’s godfather who would then be his parents? Well, I already know the answer but for not to spoil your excitement, because I already did, I just want to say who was it? And why do they need to seal the jinchuuriki in his body? If one of his parent died because of the technique then what happen to his father or mother? Did they both die?

Jiraiya is going to die? Is that true? How and why? Does he make a great advantage to konoha when he died? Those are question I want to read or see in the anime. These are also the things that I want look forward to.

GN Particle: Gundam 00

The series is set in the year 2307 AD of the Gregorian calendar. During this time, fossil fuels became exhausted and the distribution of fuels became imbalanced. Humanity must rely on an array of solar power generation systems orbiting the Earth, and supported by three orbital elevators, each one pertaining to one of the three "major powers" on the planet.

Mobile Suit Gundam 00 follows four mobile suit pilots termed Gundam Meisters, sided with Celestial Being. The protagonist is 16-year old Setsuna F. Seiei, a quiet, taciturn young man who grew up in the Kurdish Republic and a Gundam Meister for two years. He pilots the GN-001 Gundam Exia, a high mobility mobile suit effective in melee combat.

If the first quarter of Gundam 00 was more about introduction, the second quarter will be more about action. That’s reflected by the second opening sequence of Gundam 00, featuring The Brilliant Green’s Ash Like Snow. Sure, Setsuna ejecting into an orbital skydive for no apparent reason makes for an emo start, but the HD battle scenes make absolutely scrumptious eye candy. Hit series often get bigger budgets — and judging from the animation in its second opening, Gundam 00 is clearly a hit.

The rivalries for three of our four heroes are clearly defined in this opening: Allelujah versus Soma, Lockon versus Graham, and Setsuna versus Ali. That leaves out Tieria. Now who’s supposed to fight that cyberpathic transvestite protocol bitch? read more
