Hunter x Hunter Manga: Vol. 23

It’s been a week and still can’t think of a good entry to come up with. Nevertheless I’ll try this one. I have read this volume two weeks ago and still didn’t write an entry about it. Well I’m writing it now. Anyway in Volume 21 of hunter x hunter manga Killua and Gon is on their move to disrupt the selection which have been planned the thing is, Killua is acting on his own, as what you can read in the past volume, click here to read again (if you have missed it). However he was targeted by the chimera ants where he fights to death, yes Killua, although he managed to beat them all he still got injured so badly to the extent of giving up his own life.

On the other hand Gon makes alliance with a chimera ant soldier which spy on them all the time. He talked to Gon and makes a proposal on joining him in their fight to destroy the King. Meleoron wanted revenge. Well, will have to read to story first.

In the Palace, the Chimera ant King was just playing a board game. His intention is to learn all the things that humans know and use it for his own good. Every opponent he played with was all died. Well, what do you expect, they are being hit so badly and wanted to give up they lives after seeing and making him irritate. However there is one player who manages to play with him fairly and still he didn’t get irritated even after losing at her many times consequently. The good thing is he even listens to her longings.

Furthermore, Morau is trapped on Zitoh’s ability which he got it from Hakoware Knuckle’s ablity. And now Zitoh wants to play tag with Morau which he has an advantage on it. But Morau did not play with him at all, instead he just sleep until the time is up. The time Zitoh sets up is 8 hours before the game is over.

 Who really is Sora? He’s been eyed by the monks as if he’s a jinchuruki. And His right hand is looks like its curse or something. This thieves, are they the member of the twelve shinobi of Fire Country, the group who made a coup d’etat? And I think they are after Sora, since he (forgot his name) just talk to Sora as if they are very close. And what about his father’s past? Isn’t he his father? I’m just curious…

Anyway, Naruto is still fighting that girl. As Naruto asks himself, why can she use the five elements so easily? Hmm, that’s odd. I think they are like in the shinobi in the ‘naruto shippuuden movie’. Click here to read my review and here to watch the movie.

Naruto got kissed by a girl! And look how Sakura acts after seeing them kissing, does it mean she also like Naruto as much as he like Sasuke? Hmmm, this is really the same as the three legendary sannin love story. Well this is just my thoughts.

Now, moving on, after sucking all Naruto’s chakra, Fuuka suddenly stop and could not imagine what she feel after taking some of the Kyuubi’s chakra, too bad for her Naruto have a demon fox in him. Heheheh.

Another odd, why is it Naruto call Sora in his subconscious? Is there something that Sora and Naruto have in common, well except for the wind type? Could he be a jinchuriki? I think I need to read the manga again.

Wait! Tyki talk as if he’s not really into a fighting mode and rather he just want to eat. Road slam the door locked and still show off her affection to Allen. Well that’s weird and that’s the second time I saw an anime whose villain fall in love to a protagonist, interesting—The first one is in dragonball where android 18 fall in love to Kririn—I wonder if they really can end up together. 

Moving on, the door was in the top of the Tower where they cannot pass through that door without defeating the Noah. And now all of them got stucked in the dining hall where Lavi was trapped in Road’s Illusion and Allen could not escape Tyki. And Lenalee and Chouji also got trapped in a cage.

Moreover, Lavi is going to have a serious problem next episode. I hope he will not lose his own emotion on the illusion made by Road. This is really something to look forward to. I want to know everything about Lavi, and can’t wait till the next episode.

Another thing, I wonder when Chouji shows off his innocence. I hope it is cool enough to replace Kanda and Krory. And since Lenalee still can’t fight. She is remains emotional after leaving Krory and Kanda behind. I hope she can get well soon. And join back into the action. But really did Kanda and Krory is die? And I wanted to see Gen. Cross in real action and also the other Generals.

But anyway the story is getting pretty interesting and can wait to see the next episode. And by the way Allen’s innocence is very cool. From ugly looking innocence to butt-kicking weapon and he even can use his both hands as an offensive and defensive weapon in the fight.

The story is getting interesting. To begin with—like what I have said in the previous episode—the Vampire really acts like the characters in hana kimi (feeling VIP’s, hehehe). And especially in this episode (that) it’s Valentines Day. Yuuki wanted to give a chocolate to kanami but she has no guts on giving it. But Zero did it, and I think Kanami has an interest on Yuuki and not, just, a love interest I guess.

Anyway, Zero is really a vampire but he is just doing want to act like them due to his terrible past. I found something in his neck, (I guess you also notice that) there is a tattoo. What’s up with that? It’s like a curse or something. I want to know; really, I need to know that. Well in that episode, since it’s a valentines day (as I have mention) someone wants to give Zero a chocolate but he drove her away, poor girl. If only she only approach him while his in the gate, maybe Zero would accept that gift, but I guess he also have an interest on Yuuki… (hehehe)

Moving on during their patrol Zero almost got a fight with the vampires. And that night every thing is changing. And Yuuki is starting to get confused about his personality. I guess in the next episode the story will start unfolding the mystery of the vampires as well as Zero’s true identity.

Well this series is progressing so I need to keep watching. So far I still enjoy watching it. As for the rating I still give 3.5 like last time. But I recommend it to you people who want to watch this kind of anime genre. This series is really good, I give less rating though but that doesn’t mean, it has a poor story, well this is just the beginning and I don’t want to anticipate this series because I might not get satisfied.
